Iphigenia Romanos joined the Adelphi Academy of Brooklyn in 2005. Her responsibilities as the academy’s head of school and chief executive officer entail the oversight of all educational and business matters. She oversees all hiring processes, while also managing matters of curriculum development and compliance. Iphigenia Romanos is further tasked with overseeing admissions and enrollment.
Iphigenia Romanos has garnered numerous honors and accolades throughout her career in education, including a Shel Silverstein Award and the 2013 Charlotte Morrill Woman of the Year Award, among others. She has also published her work in the peer-reviewed academic journal Death Studies.
A graduate of Bernard Baruch College, Iphigenia Romanos holds a bachelor of business administration with a focus in marketing. She also holds a master of science in childhood education from Brooklyn College. She received a post master advanced certificate in educational leadership and a state certification as a school building leader from the College of Staten Island. Beyond her professional interests in special education instruction and curriculum development, she enjoys leading a healthy and active lifestyle.
